Note for portlet deployment

Remember NOT TO PACKAGE the portlet api into the war file! It will fail the deployment!

Problem description as follow:

17:21:51,982 ERROR [PortletWebApp] An error occured when the portlet started

Appreciate for the work Mark has done, I guess most widely used web icons come from silk package on famfamfam.

Silk icon package is now released at version 1.3, last update at 12th March 2006.

‘This Page Contains Both Secure and Non-Secure Items’ Error Message

Generally, it is caused by the following situations:

img, iframe, and frame with src attribute which is blank or non found items. any request from non-secure (non https) source. any usage of ‘about:’ such as about:blank

Trouble shooting:

examine any src attribute of img, iframe and frame carefully

Solution:

change src attribute to ‘javascript:false;’ or [...]
